We are looking for a motivated, creative individual with excellent written, design and communication skills and a love for marketing to join our team as an Marketing & Administrative Assistant.
Please note that this is a paid full-time or part-time role (min. 3 days per week).
About Law Answered
We create learning materials for law students – and we are passionate about making sure that our guides are the best available anywhere on the market. Our mission is to create study materials that tell students what they really need to know for exam success, without all the waffle.
We are a small team of qualified solicitors and other professionals. We author, edit and publish over 35 guides for law students on the LLB, GDL, PGDL and LPC courses. Most of these are updated annually, and we also have plans to create new SQE guides and other online learning materials.
That’s where you come in – to help us to reach more students, to help get new guides ready for publication and generally assist us with marketing and growth.
What you’ll be doing:
Content creation, content scheduling and social media engagement
Blog management, scheduling and key word optimisation
Tracking and analysing relevant marketing metrics
Helping us reshape our marketing activities, include both organic and paid marketing
Supporting in website maintenance, including SEO optimisation
Helping us grow and manage our team of ambassadors at law schools across the country
Supporting with design work across marketing and products
Administrative activities - document management, inbox management, organising meetings, taking minutes, KPI tracking etc.
Generally assisting us with a running a small publishing business. This could include working with our customer servicer team, stock management, updating our website or internal docs, and generally getting stuck into anything and everything!
Who you are and what your skills are:
A creative individual who has a great eye for design
An deep understanding of our market and industry (an educational ecommerce brand with a predominantly Gen-Z customer base).
A great communicator with an outstanding grasp of the English language.
An obsession with all things social media. Part of your role is to be keeping up to date with new trends!
A self-starter, willing to commit to learning skills for the role without being micro-managed (but who knows when to reach out for help).
Motivated, comfortable working entirely remotely, and with an ability to think for yourself.
Exceptional organisation with fantastic attention to detail.
Great time-management skills and the ability to prioritise and balance multiple tasks.
Engaged, bright and interested in knowing how our business works.
Keen to learn and to get stuck in to all aspects of running a small and growing business, whether that’s admin or marketing.
Previous administrative or marketing experience, a marketing related degree, and/or working in a startup is desirable but not essential – if you’re keen to learn then we’re keen to show you.

CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months fixed contract. Potential options to extend this role or move into other roles.
HOURS PER WEEK: 3-5 days per week (21 - 35 hours). We offer flexible working, but team members must be available to work at certain agreed times during the week to ensure effective communication and productivity within the team.
