We know a lot of law students are working from home now. Even before COVID-19 hit, we’d started work on a project to make all of our guides available as soft copies. We’re now doubling down on our efforts to get soft copies out to students as soon as possible.

We’ll be making our Core Guides for the LLB, GDL and LPC available first. These should be available in the second week of April. After that, we’ll then make LPC Electives available on a rolling basis from April onwards.

We will be using fantastic new e-learning software, MyLiveBook. Our guides won’t simply be available as PDFs or other downloads – instead, MyLiveBook is an interactive learning platform. You’ll be able to log in using your unique access code (on up to three devices) and view our guides, highlight sections, make notes on them and add content and reminders to them, just as you would with a physical copy.

We plan to make these available as a blended approach to learning, as this has been shown to be a successful learning method (and one used by many law schools already). A blended approach means that you will have the option to purchase both the physical book and the e-learning version together. Once you’ve gone through our checkout, your access code should arrive within an hour, and your books in the post as usual. Or, if you don’t want to also buy the digital version, you can choose to purchase only the physical copy.
