HOW OUR GIFT CARDS WORK

Our gift cards are automatically sent via email directly to your (or your recipient’s) inbox. To purchase a gift card:

1. Use the drop-down box to select your gift card value and add the voucher to your cart.

2. When you press “purchase” you will be automatically directed to the checkout, where you will have the option to choose whether the gift card is emailed to you, or to the recipient. You can write a personalised message to the recipient at this stage.

3. Complete checkout using your preferred payment method.

4. If you have chosen to email yourself, the gift card message and code will be automatically sent to your email address. You can then print this out to give to the recipient.

5. If you have chosen to send the gift card directly to the recipient, they will be emailed automatically with your gift card message and their gift card code.

HOW TO REDEEM A GIFT CARD

Once you have received your gift card, you can redeem it by purchasing products and entering the gift card code at checkout. The gift card applies to any physical, digital, or service product. Gift cards can’t be used to purchase subscription products.

Gift cards apply to the order total, including tax, shipping, and any transaction fees. If the order total exceeds the gift card value, you’ll need to pay the remaining amount using another payment method or another gift card.

If your order total is less than the gift card value, you can complete checkout without another payment method. The amount applied and the remaining value will be displayed as you make your purchase and in the order receipt. You can then redeem the rest of your card’s value at a later date in the same way.

GIFT CARD FAQs

How long do I have to use my gift card? As long as you want! Our gift cards never expire.

Can use more than one gift card on an order? Yes, you can apply multiple gift cards to your order.

Can I purchase a physical/plastic gift card? I’m afraid not. Gift cards are only available as a digital code.

Do gift cards cover taxes and shipping? Yep!

Can I create a custom gift card code? We’re afraid that it’s not possible to edit or customise a gift card code.

Can I use less than the full value of my gift card? When using a gift card, the full value of the gift card is always applied. It's not possible to partially redeem a gift card unless the order total is less than the gift card balance.

Can I split an order between a gift card and a credit card? Yes. If your order total exceeds the value remaining on your gift card, you can pay the balance using standard payment methods.

Will discounts apply when I purchase gift cards? No. Siscount codes can’t be applied to purchasing a gift card. However, these discounts apply to orders made using a gift card.

Can I refund a gift card? Refunds for unused gift cards can be made to the original purchaser if requested within 14 days of purchase. Please email help@lawanswered.com for more support with this. Please note that partially used gift cards can't be refunded.

Can I refund purchases made with a gift card? Yes. Refunding a purchase made with a gift card will ass the refunded amount back to the gift card's balance. Please note that our regular returns policy applies here. If your guide arrives damaged then we will of course offer you a refund. Otherwise, we’ll accept all returns of guides within two weeks, as long as they reach us in a re-saleable condition (but please email us first via help@lawanswered.com). Please note that we cannot offer refunds for electronic copies, as once an access code has been generated by our third-party MyLiveBook software provider, there is nothing that can be done to retract and refund access.

Can I buy multiple gift cards in one order? Or purchase a gift card with other products? No. When purchasing a gift card, you will be directed to checkout after clicking Purchase, similar to express checkout. This is to ensure that the gift card ends up in the right place!

Can I set a custom gift card value? Not on our website, but please get in touch if you have a special request at help@lawanswered.com.

How do I check my gift card balance? You will receive an initial email with the gift card balance. After entering the gift card code at checkout, the remaining balance will be shown.

What happens if I lose my gift card code? Send us an email at help@lawanswered.com and we can resend the gift email notification to you.

Can I set a specific time to send the email to the recipient? No. If you want to send the email to the recipient later should select the “Email to You” delivery option at checkout. You can then forward the email or PDF at your chosen time.
